Joan Patricia Loose

Joan was born in Jonestown, PA. on October 31, 1928, a daughter of the late John H. and Mary C. (Breton) Feeney. She was a faithful member of St. Catharine of Siena RCC and lived her life with her belief. Joan enjoyed reading, movies and big band music. She was a happy and content woman who was also grateful with times she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joan also had a sweet tooth so snacks and sweets ranked high with her cravings.

Surviving are her 2 daughters, Eileen M. Loose and Rosemary T. Swavely, 5 grandchildren, Nicole Loshnowsky, Linsey Swavely, Alex Swavely, Ian Loose and Amy Stauffer and 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings, Donald Feeney and his wife Jane and Alice Pingatore.

Joan was predeceased by her son, William John Loose, great grandson, Collin James Loshnowsky, granddaughter, Crystal Carter DiCecco, grandson, James Loose, siblings, Mary Bickelman, Margaret Hrezik, John Feeney, Leo Feeney, twins Thomas Feeney and Julia Marasco and Alice's twin, Eileen Feeney.

Services will be Friday May 16, 2025 at 12 noon in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Friday 11-12 noon in the funeral home. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.aumansinc.com for the Loose family.
