

Born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico on August 27, 1924, he was a son of the late Manolo and Julia (Reyes) Valle. He was employed with Interstate Container until he retired after 30 years of service in 1986.
He enjoyed sports and was a huge Pittsburgh Pirates fan. He loved outings with his family and their children feeding birds and looking at wildlife.
Surviving is a son, Joseph M. Valle, and his wife, Lynda of Bethel; two daughters, Debra A. (Valle) Harris of Lititz and Elisa L. (Valle) Esser and her husband, Bradley of Temple; seven grandchildren, Mayra, Amanda, Melisa, Kyle, Emilio, Katie and Lexus; three great grandchildren, Mercedes, Julian and Gwendolyn and twin sisters, Maria Josefa and Josefa Maria.
Jose is predeceased by three sisters and a great grandson, Landon Sperduto.
A funeral service for Jose will be Friday, April 1, 2016 at 2pm in Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Friday from 1 to 2pm. Jose will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
