I remember so many good moments we shared together.. . Mainly over Skype calls and msging... I can remember your laugh from one of our video calls, I can remember the bad things too... but I have forgiving you.. we had so much in common.. and probably more than I know... but I still think bout you ever moment of every day... I wish we had more time... I wish we could of been closer... I wish certain things didn't happen. That drove us further apart... for some reason I go back and forth with missing you.. as if I'm okay with what happened.. and others where I am utterly distraught and can't handle that I can't talk to you anymore... at least in this realm .. I reach out to you more and more.. looking for advice.. sharing a funny moment.. or just wanting to talk.. hoping to get a spiritual answer in response.. I still love you very much... it may never get easier...

Having a hard time today but you've made your presence known. I know you're here watching over mommy and after all, I challenged you to give me signs... I hear you Boo,loud and

Ohhh, Joe, I do not know what happened, but you're at rest now, say hi to my dad...our last conversation was a nice one..r.i.p my wonderful friend. .

They say you never forget the kids you ran with in your childhood. Joe, you are proof in that. I was heartbroken to hear of your passing. Although it must have been 30 plus years since I last saw you, the memories are still vivid. The first time I held a fishing pole and fished was with you. Digging out nightcrawlers from the compost pile in your yard. Riding our bikes to any watering hole we could find, sometimes even private houses. lol. You didn't care! I remember fishing at NY Tech pond with you and sharing laughs. Sometimes just saying nothing at all as we baked under the summer sun, casting and waiting for that nibble on the lure. And how about the rides home up 25a on the bikes. Being the fat kid, I walked up that hill for the most part and yet you always waited. lol. Then there was the music. You and I took up the guitar at the same time. I remember going over to your house and, while your father wasn't home, we would go downstairs and look at his guitars. I still remember the house, the sound of the back garage screen door, the basement, the smell everything. While we were both learning chords and finding our way on the instrument, you somehow just catapulted over night, writing your own compositions. I was in awe. I still, to this day, remember your first one and played it just the other day thinking of you. I regret not seeing you after all these years. My memory of you is still the kindhearted kid with glasses, a baseball cap, riding his bike with fishing gear to wherever the catching was good. I like that memory. I guess life has a way of just moving on but I hope you're in a better place, playing your music and casting away. God bless you my friend! Rest easy.

My little brother.. you will be greatly missed. Looking back, reliving your childhood, I was always your protector. I would move mountains to do whatever I could for you. For some reason I feel like I failed you because I couldn't protect you from this sad ending... know how much I love you and will never forget how special a brother you were. I will miss our special bond we had with music, and I will miss the phone calls when you wanted me to listen to a song. Fly my Angel, heaven will never be the same, just check in every once in a while ok.. I know you  love practical jokes so give it your best shot! Love you forever xoxo

Growing up you were like my brother Joe from the first time we met at John's market.  We would meet up at the first light at the fishing spot. You always had the best lures and knew had to catch'em . We had so many adventures together growing up that I will always remember.  You will always be in my heart.

My deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to Joe's mother, children, friends and family.
