Juanita Lynette Florence, 62, of Jonesboro, GA went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, April 30, 2021. Born February 28, 1959 in Reading, PA she was a cherished daughter to Annie (Haynes) Ingram and the late Cleve Ingram Jr.
Juanita was a Reading High School graduate, class of 1977. She attended Millersville University, Atlanta Clark College and earned her bachelor's degree in Social Work from Georgia State University in 2016. Juanita was a very intelligent woman and continued her studies throughout her life. She was even accorded special recognition for her academic work in Marquis's Who's Who.
Juanita was a senior financial advisor with Primerica Financial Services for over 30 years. She left the corporate world to pursue her passion—helping others—by becoming a gifted social worker with tremendous humility; working for the Clayton County Division of Family and Children Services, Jonesboro, GA. Juanita was a strong advocate for disadvantaged youth and had a passion for helping people that few possess – she was selfless, thoughtful, and talented, and made a difference in the lives of many, young and old.
Juanita was always engaged in current events and politics and was a member of The Democratic Party of Fayetteville, GA. She was an avid reader who enjoyed nature walks, traveling, attending concerts, playing card games, good food, going to amusement parks and listening to praise & worship music.
She will be remembered as a beautiful, bright, dignified, kind and compassionate woman. She leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
Juanita's spirit will be carried on by and is survived by her mother Annie (Haynes) Ingram, of Reading, PA; husband Morgan Florence, of Atlanta, GA; son Quentin Florence, of Jonesboro, GA ; brother Shawn Ingram, of Temple, PA; sister Loretta Woollery, of Mebane, NC and godson Chris Jones III, of Reading, PA. Juanita also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, coworkers and business associates to cherish her memory.
In addition to her father Cleve, Juanita was greeted in heaven by her 2 sisters Dorothy Ann Mcfee and Elaine M. Alexander.
A viewing for Juanita will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn St. Reading, PA 19601. Homegoing service will promptly commence in the funeral home at 11 AM, with Pastor Robert Hinson officiating. Graveside committal will immediately follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Rd. Reiffton.
