Judith "Judy" Diane (Lesher) Henry, 68, of Exeter Township, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 28, 1953 in Reading, PA she was a daughter to the late Harry S. Lesher and Mary J. (Tobin) Lesher.
Judy was a graduate of Exeter High School, class of 1971. She was employed as a meat clerk at ACME Markets for 35 years, retiring in 2013. Judy was also a member of Neversink Gun Club.
Many activities like tending to her plants, spending time in the pool and trips to the casino, kept Judy busy, but none as much as shopping. She loved to shop and could be given the title of a “professional shopper” as she could spend hours on end shopping and leaving no aisle unturned.
Judy enjoyed being around people. She loved family gatherings and treasured spending time with family and friends. Being surrounded by her family especially, her grandchildren, nieces and her nephews really delighted her. She also loved feeding everyone – trying new recipes and cooking up favorite meals to share was her way of saying ‘I love you’. Judy was an amazing wife, mother, "Bonus Mom", sister, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She had a fighting spirit, was always smiling, was always kind and caring, and will be sadly missed by all blessed enough to have known her.
Judy's spirit will be carried on by her beloved husband of 22 years, Robert E. Henry; son Kerry Breon Jr. and his wife Stephanie, of Fleetwood; bonus daughter Theresa Walsh and her husband Neal, of Tannersville; 2 brothers Harry Lesher Jr. and his wife Tina, Thomas Lesher and his wife Lori; sister Sue Stankiewicz and her husband Stephen, all of Exeter Township. Judy also leaves behind 4 grandchildren Mason Taddei, Kyle Andujar, Felicia Andujar, Brayden Walsh, niece Sofia, great nephew Dominic and great niece Gabby and several nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Judy was greeted in heaven by her son David M. Lesher.
Per the family's request, masks are required when attending the visitation and service. Thank you.
