Mr. and Mrs. Baum, we are deeply saddened by your loss. He was more than an employee at KDR computer, he was a friend. His personality and humor always started the day off great and, a smile and that all too familiar wave will last forever in our memories.

Where do you start or where do you begin to describe Kevin. All I know is that Kevin was a Angel in my life and so many others. Kevin touch and blessed so many people. He will always be greatly missed and appreciated by so many others.

Mr. and Mrs. Baum, 
I know you already know what a good and kind man your son was, however, I thought I'd share this with you. 
I went to high school with Kevin. And I didn't give him the time of day. I barely acknowledged a simple 'hello' from him. Why? Because I was a snob and he was 'beneath' me. He wasn't worthy of my attention. (And he wasn't the only person I behaved that way towards) Even at graduation I couldn't be bothered. 
Thankfully, as the years passed, I became 'older and wiser'. When I looked back on my high school years and reflected on my behavior towards some people, I was beyond horrified. I was embarrassed and ashamed. I was flat out disgusted with myself. I briefly contemplated approaching Kevin (and others who I had been nasty to) at our reunions to apologize but never went through with it. I figured I'd just ignore them so I wouldn't have to think about it. But then, Facebook came into the picture. And Kevin sent me a friend request which I accepted. I was too nervous to comment on any of his pictures or posts for a few months but then I did on his birthday years ago. And I sent him a message apologizing for my behavior back in school. Had the shoe been on the other foot, I don't know that I would have accepted someone's apology who had been so nasty to me. But not Kevin. Your son treated me with such kindness and grace that I most definitely did NOT deserve. 2+ decades after graduation, we finally became friends. And I am SO thankful that we did. I've often heard the expression 'I'm a better person for having known so-and-so' after someone passes away. I always thought that was just something polite that people said to comfort those who were grieving. When I learned of Kevin's passing and thought about his kindness and forgiveness towards my horrendous behavior, I FINALLY understood that phrase. Because I AM a better person for having known Kevin. I could kick myself for being a moron for SO many years but I am SO thankful that I DID get to know him. 

I will miss him. Just as so many others will too. You have my deepest and most sincere condolences.

Growing up in Exeter Township the class of 1987 was unique in that our collective group of young  individuals shared in a genuine spirit of friendship with one another. As a diverse group, we were a true community. As I've grown up and learned about other people's high school experiences, I know it is a blessing and a rarity to have been privileged to grown up with such a special group of classmates in such a unique environment. 
I always related Kevin to computers. In high school I didn't think computer class was very "cool." I didn't know very much back then... I should have paid more attention.
Kevin's passing just doesn't "compute" and I am saddened by the loss of one of our special community. Social media has offered many of us a glimpse into each others "grown-up" lives and Kevin's daily presence will be sadly missed and noticed.
I believe we serve a God who doesn't promise us a rose garden, but promises to walk with us when things happen that we don't understand. That same God offers us an eternal life of freedom and peace.
I lament with Kevin's family and friends. May the warmth of friends and family, and the love of God be with you in every moment as you mourn and celebrate Kevin's life!

A good friend - one who had always given of himself to others.  In retrospect I wish I had given to him as much as he did for me.

I was shocked & deeply saddened to learn of Kevin's passing. Kevin was the Intellitec consultant for our company and I have had the privilege of Kevin's friendship for nearly 12 years. My deepest condolences to the Baum family as they have truly lost a precious son.

Where does one begin when describing the kindness embodied by Kevin? One can not do it. There was neither beginning nor end to the depth to which Kevin would--and did--go for his friends. He will indeed be missed by all who knew him.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I hadnt't seen nor spoken to Kevin since high school but reconnected with him on facebook, he must have spent his life as a kind man as he was when I recently spoke with him and was back in school. He ALWAYS helped me with code in computer class. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.

Very sad to hear about Kevin. He was a true friend to my brother and while I was not as close to Kevin, he was always gallant to me, kind and full of humor.  From the first time I met him, I knew he was one of those truly good people.  
May your grief be tempered by knowing he had such an impact on so many people and I wish you peace at this difficult time.

Kevin was a great friend.  It is hard to comprehend that I saw him last year at the class reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Baum, I am saddened to hear about the loss of Kevin.

I've known Kevin since kindergarden and he was always a good friend. I have many fond memories of our times together We shared alot of adventures from our childhood to our adult years and helped each other through good and bad times. Kevin was one of the kindest caring people I've ever met and I will miss him. Prayers to his family and friends.

To Kevin's parents and friends-I knew Kevin for a very long time, thanks to my son, George.  Kevin was a wonderful friend to George, and many others.  He was George's best man at his wedding and we all enjoyed that day and many other days with Kevin.  I am so very, very sorry that Kevin had to leave us so soon.  My heart is aching for all of Kevin's friends, especially George, and my thoughts and prayers are especially going out to Kevin's parents.  I know how very much he loved all of you.  Hugs to all. I am so sorry for the loss of a classmate. Keeping friends and family of Kevin in my prayers...

Not many people can say that they have had a friend since they were 5-years-old, but I can say that about Kevin...and a friend he always was. If you were down, he lifted your spirits. If you were laughing, he would say something that made you laugh even harder. That was Kevin...he brought out the best in every one of us. He was a true friend who was always there. I can honestly say that I have never met one person in my lifetime of knowing Kevin that ever said one negative thing about him to me...and I don't think there are many people out there that can have that said about them. If Kevin was your friend, he was your friend for life and he was a true friend. 

Rest in peace, my friend. You will be missed by so very many of us. Heaven now has an extra special angel looking over us.

I first met Kevin when he was with Reinsel.  Always had a way with words.  Every time I see an Einstein Bagel Shop, I think of him. That was his favorite contribution to his time with my company.  Complete with every flavor of cream cheese!  I know there are many that will miss his humor along with his help. My sympathy to all of his family.

Kevin was a co-worker and a friend.  He was a kind person, funny, and extremely intelligent.  I always referred to him as “a consultant's consultant.”  When we couldn't figure out a problem, he would always have the answer at his fingertips.  I will miss him very much.

We grew up in an area where in our school, our class was gifted with a gracious and respectful care for one another. We all knew each other and generally everyone of the class of Exeter's 1987 were friends--we were a community. I remember Kevin from many years of school together and it is painful and sad to feel the loss of ONE of the class of 1987. It really doesn't "compute."
One realizes the significance of social media when a person whose daily and joyful contributions are no longer there every day.

My name is Steve Gajewski and I want to share a memory of Kevin.  We went to Lausch together and had Mr. Coldren as our teacher.  Mr. Coldren just gave the class a lecture because so many kids mispelled the word false as flase on a recent test.  Mr. Coldren didn't want to see flase even one more time.  Well Kevin was next to answer a question and sure enough, the straight as an arrow, straight A student, answers 'flase' instead of false. The classroom just erupted in laughter, including the teacher.  I laugh even now when I think about that moment, and it makes me miss him even more.  You should be proud as parents to have raised such a wonderful person.
