

Mary’s Sibling brothers were- John E. Branford, James H. Branford and Nathan Branford all deceased. Her sibling sisters were- Lena P. Branford, Earthleen Branford, Eula Mae Branford, and Lula Branford all deceased, with one surviving sister –Florence N. Branford.
Mary was united in marriage to Aaron William Jackson in 1942, to this union was born six children; Barbara A. (Jackson) Bass, Ronald Jackson, Barry Eugene Jackson, Charlotte Bernice (Jackson) Broadus, Michael Stephen Jackson, and Sharlie (Jackson) Battle.
Mary became a member of the First Baptist Church of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, as a child, where her father Deacon Edward Brandford was a charter member.
Later she affiliated with St. James Cogic until she relocated to the Harrisburg / York area, where she affiliated with Tabernacle Baptist Church. Due to her illness Mary was placed in the Golden Living Blue Mountain Nursing Home, Where she resided Twenty-five years until her demise on Monday, March 6th, 2017, when she entered her “Eternal Home”. She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron William Jackson; two sons, Ronald Jackson, and Michael Jackson, and one daughter, Charlotte Jackson Broadus.
She leaves to mourn her transition- two daughters; Barbara A. Jackson Bass, Sharlie Jackson Battle and one son Barry Jackson, Twenty-five grand children, 2 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. “Sunset and evening star, one clarion call, may there be no moaning when I cross the Bar”.
A celebration of Life will convene on Saturday, March 18th, 2017 (11:00am) at the Auman Funeral Home, located at: 247 Penn Street, Reading, Pa. 19601. The Eulogist will be her nephew, the Rev. Leroy Bailey, of Birdsboro, PA. The Master of ceremonies will be the Rev Wayne Manning Bass, from New Haven, Connecticut. Burial will be Monday, March 20th, 2017 at 1:00pm located at the Berks County Memorial Gardens.
