Born in the Bronx, NY on October 3, 1935, he was the only child of the late Irving and Frances (Nass) Sands. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mick was self-employed as a supplier of stainless steel products.
In addition to his wife, Susan; Mick is survived by two sons, Alex W. Derrico and Christian T. Derrico both of Morgantown.
Services for Mick are private and at the convenience of his family.
