Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Raquel was a daughter of the late Jose and Rafeala Crespo Nieves. She was employed at Pitkin Bargain Center in Brooklyn NY before moving to Reading.
Raquel loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Surviving are three children: Lorraine Justianiano of Reading, Darleen Hadba of Tampa, FL and Timothy Justiniano and his fiance, Carol Sanchez of New York, NY; thirteen grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are her three siblings: George, Edward and Iris Nieves.
Raquel is predeceased by two children: Antonio and Doreen Justiniano and three siblings: Joe, Noel and Hazel Nieves.
A funeral service for Raquel will be 2:00pm Friday, October 10, 2014 in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Saturday from 12 to 2:00pm.
