Raymond was born in Reading on January 18, 1939, a son of the late Raymond W. Sr. and Grace (Zieber) Erb.
Ray was employed by Luden's, later Hershey Corporation in Reading, on the peppermint pattie assembly line, retiring there. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan and also a NASCAR fan.
In addition to his wife, Raymond is also survived by his three sons: Mark A. Sr. and his wife, Jean Erb, of Reading; Brian K. and his wife, Linda Erb, of Spring Township; and Raymond W. III and his wife, Barbara Erb, of Reading; his daughter, Diana L. Holcomb of Bartonsville, PA; two brothers, Edward Erb and Robert Erb, both of Reading; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Wednesday, 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home. www.aumansinc.com.
