His wife, Norise (Marshall) Spencer passed away in 2004.
He was born in Highpoint N.C., on August 16, 1943, one of 6 children to the late Kenneth S. and Elizabeth (Johnson) Spencer.
Reginald was a veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was employed by Car-Tech as a crane operator for many years retiring there. He had a passion for everything that had to do with flying.
Surviving are his 3 daughters: Marian Marshall, of N.C.;, Tereasa Mickens-Herndon and her husband, Bryant, of Reading; Denise Bryant, of Reading; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; his brother, Kenneth Spencer; and his sister, Inez Currie, both of N.C.
He was predeceased by his 3 siblings.
Services will be Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 12 noon in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. A viewing will be Saturday 11-12 noon in the funeral home.
