Robert H. Kochel

Robert H. Kochel, 88, of Mohnton, passed away January 17, 2014 in The Reading Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Clara C. (Kruszewski) Kochel. They would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on March 15. He was born in Reading on January 15, 1926, a son of the late Charles and Elsie (Eddinger) Kochel.

Robert was a Navy Veteran of WWII and was employed by Morris Kreitz & Sons as a truck driver for 35 years, retiring there. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

In addition to his wife, Robert, is also survived by his 2 sons: Michael and his wife Deborah Kochel of Sinking Spring and David Kochel of Muhlenberg Township. His sister, Arlene Milkins of Tampa, FL, and 4 grandchildren, Ashleigh, Chelsea, Cody, and Andrew also survive him.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 1 p.m. in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Inurnment to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A memorial gathering will be Wednesday 12:30-1 p.m. in the funeral home.
