Sarah was born in Reading on May 22, 1939, a daughter of the late William C. and Sarah (Reinhart) Kauffman. She was a graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing and was a dedicated Registered Nurse for 35 years at St. Lawrence Family Medical Center, fulfilling her duties in 1998. Sarah was an active supporter for all her children's and grandchildren's activities and interests. She was a kind hearted person who always stayed upbeat and positive even throughout her medical obstacles. She enjoyed her flower gardens, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She also loved to host holiday gatherings and picnics. Sarah was a crafter of stained glass, gifting away many of her accomplishments to friends and family to enjoy. She also participated in craft shows around the county to sell her crafts. She was a member of St Mark's Lutheran Church, Birdsboro.
Also surviving are her 2 children; Gregory D. Arters and Beth M. and her husband Michael Hagginbothom, her sister, Joan Ammarell and 4 granddaughters; Alexa, Rachael, Hayley and Janelle and 2 great grandchildren.
A viewing will be Thursday April 30, 2026 from 10-11 AM in Auman's Inc, 391 W Neversink Rd Reiffton, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Burial to follow in Friedens UCC Cemetery, Oley PA. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.aumansinc.com for the Arters family.
