Suzanne J. “Sue” Masiello, 77, of Mohnton, PA passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at the Reading Hospital. Born in Pottstown, PA on June 30, 1943, she was a daughter to the late Russell A. Saltzer and Dorothy M. Foltz. Along with her parents, Sue was also preceded in death by her sister, Norma Treible, and her loving husband of over 30 years, William P. Masiello, whom recently passed on Sept. 4, 2020.
Sue is survived by her children, Renee' L. Cicchino and her husband Vincent, Kimberly Bazen and her husband Thomas, Vincent Masiello and his wife Gina, William Masiello Jr., and Christopher Masiello. Sue also leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Sue was a graduate of O.J Roberts High School in Pottstown. Later in life, she moved to the Villages in Florida with her husband, Bill, where they lived for over 30 years. Sue worked in many occupations, with her final and favorite job as an event planner for Harbor Chase Assisted Living. Upon her retirement, she returned to PA in the summer of 2018.
Sue loved playing games including cards, BINGO and visiting the casinos to play the slots. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing recipes, as well as doing many various crafts. However, above all else she truly treasured spending quality time with her family.
She was a Mom-Mom to everyone and loved by all fortunate enough to have known her. She was full of energy and spunk, and thrived when surrounded by her friends and family. She will be deeply missed by everyone.
Family & friends will gather Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Auman's Inc., 390 W. Neversink Rd. Reiffton, PA 19606, followed by a celebration of Sue's life at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Dr. Robert Aregood officiating.
