

Theresa Williams Ingram, 55, of Temple, passed away on Thursday, September 9th, 2010 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was born in Reading, Pa to the late Lillie Mae Austen (Williams) on September 6th, 1955. Theresa was raised by her grandparents, the late Roosevelt and Bessie Tyson, also of Reading Pa.
Theresa graduated from Reading High School in 1972 and went on to attend Indiana State University of Pennsylvania. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education upon graduation in 1976. After graduation Theresa taught for the Reading School District for a brief time before switching career paths to become an Adult Probation Officer for Berks County. She served our county as a Probation Officer for more than 20 years.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Stephan M. Ingram and her son, Don K. Balthrop II, both of Temple, Pa. Other survivors include her siblings Senada McCoy and Kelvin Tyson Sr. of Reading Pa, and Gwendolyn Towles Manning of Harrisburg Pa, her Great Aunts, Ethel Mabry of Warrenville South Carolina, Margaret Tyson, Mary Tyson and Carol Tyson all of Reading Pa and Great Uncle Robert Lester Tyson of Reading Pa. Theresa also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren with great memory of her life.
Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, 436 S. 7th Street, Reading Pa, on Friday, September 17th 2010 at 11 a.m. A viewing will be held from 9-11am.
