Mr. Walter R. Holbrook

He was the husband of Marcia A. (Weiser) Holbrook.

Born in Coatesville, he was a son of the late Walter C. and Florence R. (Beekley) Holbrook.

He received his BS in mechanical engineering at Lafayette College.

He was last employed as a manager in laser packaging at Cenix Inc., Allentown, retiring in 2002. Previously, he served as a consultant for Keystone Technical Associates and he also worked for Bell Laboratories, later Lucent Technologies, as a supervisor in light wave packaging for 36 years.

He was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Rd., Reading, PA 19606.

Also surviving are sons, W. Steven Holbrook, husband of Bonnie S. Zare, Laramie, Wyo.; and Scott C., husband of Ily M. (Duncan) Holbrook, Littleton, Colo.

Other survivors include sisters, Lois Hanna, Kennett Square; and Jane Smith, Quarryville.

There are also grandchildren: Cameron, Rhonwyn, Kieran, Aidan, Jocelyn and Jillian, all at home.

Memorial services will be held at Schwarzwald Lutheran Church on Saturday, Aug. 21, at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at church on Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
