A graduate of Holy Name High School, William held a variety of jobs throughout his life, but he spent more than 20 years as salesman at Maier’s Bakery, until his well deserved retirement.
William was an avid fisherman and beach lover, he adored his grandchildren, and treasured the time spent with his close friends Ray and Tony. Known for his passionate spirit, unwavering loyalty to those he loved, dependable nature, and a stubborn streak that was uniquely his own, William left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
William's spirit will be carried on by his daughter, Lauren Oswald (Josh Oswald); his son, Christopher Farina (Jamie Farina); his daughter, Sonya Williams; his son, William Kremp; and his sister, Marylou Haynes (The late John Haynes Sr.). He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Ella Oswald, Evangeline Oswald, Shawn Farina, and Aaron Farina; his niece, Marihelene Haynes; his nephew John Haynes Jr; and his great-nieces and nephews, Journee Haynes, Sebastian Haynes, and Justice Haynes.
Family will greet relatives and friends at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Sheryl Manzella.
