Passed peacefully at her home on the river, on February 9, 2012.
Bernie was born August 27, 1926in Bigfork, Minnesota, to Olga and Nels Felstet. She was a Charter Member of the Shasta Trinity Medical Assistance Society; and was office Nurse to Louis Nash, M.D. for thirty - six (36) years. She was an active member of the Skogen Lodge.
Bernie is preceded in death by her spouse "Smitty", Son, Frank, and her five brothers and three sisters.
She leaves behind her daughter, Nelsia "Chris" Hansen, three grand-children, Michael Frank smith (Caroline); Sandy Hansen Scheu (David) and Heidi Hansen Banghart, and five great-grandchildren.
Bernie will be remembered for her laughter, love of animals and roses.
