

Bruce Elmer Eaton, 67, of Shingletown, CA passed away on November 17, 2013. Bruce was born on November 8, 1946 to Lee Elmer Eaton and Eudora Mabelle (Ball) Eaton in San Jose, CA. On May 29, 1971 Bruce married Kathryn Karol Nosera in Los Gatos, CA.
Survivors include his wife Kathryn of 42 years; his children Deborah Lewis of Plano, TX, Cynthia Eaton of San Jose, CA and John (Brenda) Eaton of Fremont, CA. and 6 grandchildren (5 boys/1 girl) and his dog Tootsie, his brother Howard Eaton of Redding, CA and his sister Eudora (Bill) Hart in Santa Cruz, CA. Bruce was preceeded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
Bruce was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family and friends and having the kids and grandkids home with him. He enjoyed teaching the grandkids many skills of his own. Bruce had many friends and enjoyed helping them out all the time. Bruce was a kind person and was loved and enjoyed by all his friends and family.
Bruce's passion was building 1.5 inch scale trains for the kids and grandkids to ride. Bruce even installed track all around the backyard for his grandkids to enjoy at anytime they wished. Bruce was a member of a few train clubs; Train Mountain in Oregon, Golden Gate Live Steamers in Tilden Park Berkely Hills, Sacramento Valley Live Steamers in Sacramento, and well known with many others.
Bruce was a skilled Dental Technician for over 47 years, he was self employed for 11 years as a Dental Technician until his illness kept him from continuing to working. He took pride in his work and was a perfectionist in making sure all the partials and dentures that he made were absolutly perfect and beautiful to be seen by others with no flaws.
Visitation will be from 11-2pm at Lawncrest Memorial in Redding, CA on November 26, 2013. Funeral services for Bruce will be officiated by a close family relative Bill Hart at 2pm. Bruce's sister, Eudora Hart will be playing the piano.
