

Earl “Lee” Sessions was born in Redding, CA on November 14, 1965, to Georgia Mae Henry and Earl Lee Sessions. Earl passed away November 11, 2025 at the age of 59 at his home in Redding. He was the youngest of three children. Earl lived in the North State almost his entire life and his love for family, friends and the love of the outdoors is what kept him here. Earl graduated from Shasta High School in 1984 where he excelled in football and basketball. He was an avid fisherman who loved boating, traveling, camping and the ocean. He was also passionate about cars, racing, riding motorcycles, music and was a lifelong Raider fan. Earl worked security for most of his career.
Earl was loved by many in the North State community. He was a gentle giant who would move mountains for those he cared about. Earl loved to play jokes on people. He had an uncanny ability to connect with just about anyone, had a profound sense of humor, and loved to laugh. Earl’s children were his pride and joy, and he loved them with everything he had.
He is survived by his four children, Micaela Sessions, Janae Norman, Lacretia Jordon, Bryson Sessions, his brother, Eric Jordan, his aunt Josephine Harris and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Fowler, father Earl Sessions and sister Lillian “Paula” Crockett. Earl was a beloved son, grandson, uncle, brother, nephew, cousin, friend and husband. Earl was surrounded by loved ones the day before he passed and took his last breath at 5:56 am with the love of his life by his side.
