Edward Leon Roberts born July 16, 1924 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He met his Lord and Savior on January 25, 2016 in Redding, California.He enlisted in the US Army on April 24, 1943 to December 7, 1945 where he served tours in Central Europe and Normandy as a surgical technician, where he received several decorations of service.His pastimes were spent woodworking and making furniture for family friends.Work included truck driving and United Frozen Foods as a buyer.Survived by wife Norma of 53 years, brother Charles and his wife Theresa of Pierce City, Missouri, daughters Brenda Roberts of Phoenix, Arizona and Charlotte Roberts of Bend, Oregon, also many nephews and nieces.He was preceded in death by his parents George E. Roberts and Ruth Langston Seahorn, step father Jess Seahorn, sisters Luella Seahorn and Margaret Lyons both of Arizona.Services will be held on February 4th at 2 pm at the Northern CA Veterans Cemetery in Igo with full Military services. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to the memory of Edward Leon Roberts family.
