1947 - 2014
Jerry passed away peacefully on the morning of October 21st, 2014 surrounded by loving family.
Jerry was born August 11th, 1947 in Granby, MO to Charley and Jean Flaxbeard.
He was the youngest of 3 children.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Janice Flaxbeard, whom he spent the last thirty years with. His parents Charley and Jean Flaxbeard. Two sisters Carolyn Morris (Jerry) and Maxine Darknell (Lloyd). Two wonderful stepchildren Stacy Bennett (Jeff) and James Hollomon. Three daughters, Lisa, Katie and Linda. Numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Jerry was a Purple Heart Viet Nam Veteran. When he returned from the service in the late 1960's, he came to Redding and became a real estate agent. In 1983, he began his career with the U.S. Post Office. He worked there until he retired in 2002.
Jerry was a very caring and loving man and he will be greatly missed by us all.
