So sorry to hear about Jack....he was my mom Alice's first cousin...I also remember him as being a very kind person. Praying for all the family.

I got my first job at Palo Cedro Golf Course almost 17 years ago, I thought working at a golf course would be fun. Little did I know how meeting someone like Jack would impact my life for years to come. Kind words, advice on life, and the most heartwarming spirit was found in this man. I will always have the utmost respect for Jack, and look forward to the day we can reunite on those streets of gold in Heaven. Heck, maybe they even have a course up there, that Jack won't be able to fall into the pond! Prayers to the family.

Grandpa Jack was an amazing man! He made me feel like I belonged from the day I started dating his Grandson Courtney! He was always happy and he loved to spend time with his family! I am so glad that he was able to spend time with his Great-Grand children! We will miss you forever Grandpa, but will always know that you are watching down on us! We will continue to make you proud! We love you!

We are very sad to hear of Jack's passing. He was our first neighbor when we moved to Redding in 1965 and remained friends with our family for many years. We remember buying penny candy from Jack when he owned Shasta View Market. Jack was a very nice guy with a ready smile. Our thoughts are with the family at this time.

Jack "The Munnsnificent":  Will miss you old friend.  You're the first person I met at PCGC and remained the best of the best thriugh my seven plus years of membertship.  A happy guy who shined among all of his friends.  Always quick to help out wth BBQ's and loved to beat me at poker dice.  However, the most memorable part of your prescence was the our annual coat and tie contest at WinRiver Members' Banquet. Your assured a Tee Time in Heaven!

I met Jack when I accompanied my father, Don Sharp, to the Palo Cedro Golf Course on my visits to the Redding area. Jack was always happy, pleasant and laughing. When he discovered I lived in farming country, he shared his youthful experiences with agriculture and we found he had lived and worked not too far from my homebase. I'd share pictures of new farm machinery with him knowing he'd get a boot out of how much things had changed. He was quite a character and I was always grateful for his kindness to me and my father. May you all find peace in knowing his happy presence will be greatly missed.

Jack always had a big smile and was one of my best buddies in the class of 55 and we were always going to get together for a game of golf but never made it.  I will have fond memories of our many years of friendship.  You were a great friend.    Jim Bogue, Oak Run
