1988 - 2011
Jonathan Tibbett passed away after a tragic car accident on July 24th, 2011.
Born on August 1, 1988 in Eureka, CA he moved to Shasta County in 1989.
He graduated from Enterprise High in 2007 and was a member of the ROTC. He was active duty in the National Guard with 235th Sapper Company and was sent to Afghanistan in February 2009. He was an active duty member with the 132nd MRBC National Guard of Redding and was getting ready to be deployed again. Everyone that knew Johnny knew he had a heart the size of the world and all he cared about was his family, friends and serving our country.
He was proceeded in death by his father Clyde Tibbett.
He is survived by his mother Jackie Tibbett Beebe, sisters Dawn Silvey of Redding, Cathy Calkins of Redding and Chloe Mihalka of Rohnert Park. Brothers Mike Sheehan of Salida and Clyde Tibbett of Redding and many nieces and a nephew.
Services will be at Northern California Veterans Cemetery in Igo, Ca on Tuesday August 2nd at 2:00 pm.
A celebration of life will be held after the service at 2932 Smith River Drive in Redding.
