Born in PA, Lorena’s family moved to Oxnard when she was just a baby and the majority of her life was spent in Southern California. Her greatest joy came from raising children, first her own and then her partner Garry’s. She is remembered as a kind and loving woman with infinite patience. Later in life when she suffered health problems, Lorena never complained and was always content if she was with Garry or one of her children. Lorana’s legacy now lives on through her grandchildren and she will always be cherished by her family.
She leaves behind her best friend and partner of 42 years, Garry Hixson; sons, Dan and Nick Marinovich; step-sons, Eric and Garry Jr.; brother, John Davey; four grandchildren and one very new great-grandchild.
Services for Lorena will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 1pm at Lawncrest Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawncrest Memorial Park.
