Peggy was born May 2, 1927 to John and Marguerite Hallsworth in Methuen, MA. She spent her childhood on the east coast and moved to Los Angeles, California during her teen years. She married Walter Anderson Walker on April 13, 1946. Peggy and Walter had three children; Edward, Nancy and Ralph as well as 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She celebrated 53 years of marriage before becoming a widow in 1999.
After raising her children, Peggy became a Realtor and worked in real estate for over 10 years. She enjoyed traveling extensively with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends, taking trips throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Peggy was a wonderful storyteller, a gifted rose gardener and member of the Tri County Bird Club in recent years.
A memorial service will be held March 29, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Lawncrest Chapel in Redding (530-222-1587)
