Marion was born in Duluth, Minnesota on January 26, 1908 and moved to the Los Angeles area in early infancy.
She passed away on June 30, 2011 at the age of 103 in Redding, where she has lived since March, 2002.
Marion married Fred Paul in 1926, and was happily married for 62 years until his death in 1989.
Fred's position as a senior construction manager for large International engineering and construction companies took the couple around the world. In addition to living throughout the continental U.S. they lived in areas such as India, Kuwait, Canada, Hawaii, and Saipan, and traveled extensively throughout the Mediterranean, Africa, the middle East, the Pacific Islands, and the Orient.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband Fred, brother and sister-in-law Burt and Frances Stewart, and beloved granddaughter Karen Naff. In addition to many long-time friends, Marion is survived by sons Alan Paul (Dorothy) in Weaverville and Wayne Paul in Redding, daughter-in-law Marge Paul in San Diego, grandchildren Kathy Lytle in Anderson, Ron Paul (Sherryl) in Bakersfield, Eric Paul (Denise) in Fair Oaks, California, and Sharon Gebbhart in San Diego, grandson-in-law David Naff (Lourdes) in Bakersfield, as well as eleven great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and her faithful friend Brigitte Partlow. Marion will be deeply missed.
