

Shirley L. Fox passed away on December 29, 2010 in Redding, CA. She was born September 26, 1936 in Modesto , CA. She was a Colusa County resident for more than 35 years before moving to Redding with her husband Ray Fox where she has lived for the past ten years.
Shirley was a member of the Williams Community Church and the Colusa Co. Cattlewomens Association. She was an avid golfer, and a staunch Stonyford Rodeo supporter. She enjoyed camping with her children at Lake Almanor and trips out on Lake Shasta on her patio boat with friends and family. She had a big heart, an excellent memory and a way of bringing family and friends together. She loved to shop and will be remembered for her generosity. She will be greatly missed by all of her friends.
Shirley will be dearly missed by her husband Ray Fox, sons - William Chandler (Kim), Joseph Chandler (Laurie), brother - Henry Long (Jay), sisters - Mildred Wallulas, Linda Leatherman (Jim), 6 grandchilden and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son James Chandler and grandson Keoki Santos.
A graveside service will be held in her honor on Friday, January 7, 2011 @ 2:00p.m. at Lawncrest Memorial Park, 1522 E. Cypress Ave., Redding, CA 96002. Arrangements are in the care of Lawncrest Chapel 530-222-1587.
