
Thomas Theo Lacy, 94 passed away June 21, 2011 at his home in Redding, California from cancer. He was born October 22, 1916 to Thomas Henderson and Lena Mocho Lacy in Santa Ana, California. He graduated from Santa Ana High School in 1934; Santa Ana Junior College in 1936; in 1936 and from Woodbury College, at Los Angeles, in 1938. He was employed by Soutnern California Edison Company for his entire career (40 years), his last position being Area Manager. He married June Marie Hauck, June 7, 1940. In March of 1945, he enter the U.S. Army and served in WWII.
He was very active in business, community and social affairs, serving in many positions of leadership for the following: Anaheim Chamber of Commerce; the Orange County Chamber of Commerce; the United Fund; Anaheim Y.M.C.A.; Campfire Girls; Orange County Academic Decathlon Association; Pacific Coast Electrical Association. He was a member of B.P.O Elks in Santa Ana and Redding, Santa Ana Host Lions Club; Anaheim Host Lions Club; Anaheim Visitor and Convention Bureau; and a member of the Alta Vista Country Club.
Tom and June retired in 1979 to Redding, California. They spent many years traveling in their travel trailer making many new friends and enjoying golfing, fishing and touring many of the United States.
He is survived by his sons Thomas E. Lacy (Wendy) of Centerville, Utah; Barry Theo Lacy (Debbie) of Anaheim, California; California; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
