Tim Severtson passed away on January 29, 2017 at Shasta Regional Hospital. He was 74 years old. He was born and raised in Shasta County, leaving only when he joined the United States Navy. He moved back to Redding after being honorably discharged from the Navy with his new wife, Marge. Tim then was able to find a job working at Kimberly Clark in Anderson, CA and then later Simpson Paper Co. There he worked for 30 plus years. He became an active Union Member serving as an officer and Shop Stewart for many years.
Tim is survived by his wife, Marge, of 53 years. As well as 3 Children: Dan, Rob and Theresa; four grandchildren: Erica, Tim, Jamie and Kory; 1 great granddaughter, Addy; brother, Mike and cousin Gene.
There will be a family and friends Celebration of Life, date and time pending.
