Don Lucia

Don Lucia was born February 19, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan to Donald and Bernice Lucia. He was preceded in death by his father Donald and his brother Rickey. He is survived by his loving mother Bernice, his sister Luanne (Jay) Mueller and brother John (Denise) Lucia. He was a devoted uncle to Diana, Jayson and Erica.

Don loved fishing, hunting and was a dedicated tanner. He could frequently be found on the computer and keeping in contact with his friends on Facebook. Whatever he did, he did to the utmost of his abilities. He will be remembered as a warm, outgoing, caring and dedicated man who was committed to his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Friends may visit Don's family at a memorial gathering from 5 in the afternoon until 9 in the evening on Monday July 18, 2011 at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, located at 25450 Plymouth Road in Redford, Michigan 48239. During the gathering, there will be a memorial service in his honor at 7 pm officiated by Pastor David Powless of Warren Road Light and Life Church. The funeral home is located on the north side of Plymouth Road between Beech Daly and Telegraph roads.

He will be laid to rest with his family at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.

His family asks that memorials be made to Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous in his honor.
