Born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1942, Betty had a remarkable talent for working with her hands—especially when it came to cars. She loved the challenge of fixing an engine, getting greasy, and bringing a vehicle back to life. Betty had a special love for her Ford Mustangs and took great pride in maintaining her own, cherishing every chance to take it out for a drive.
She adored her loyal dog, Scruffy. The two of them bonded immediately, quickly becoming inseparable companions. Scruffy passed earlier this year, and it brings comfort knowing she is now reunited with him.
Betty was an active and longtime parishioner of St. Linus Catholic Church in Dearborn Heights. Her faith was a steady source of strength throughout her life, and she found great comfort and community within the parish. She was grateful for the friendships she formed there and for the sense of belonging the church always provided.
Betty was the beloved wife of the late David John Huff, Sr., with whom she shared more than 24 treasured years of marriage. Their story began in a way that always brought a smile: David accidentally kicked her feet while she was working under a car, thinking she was a man—an unforgettable moment that sparked a lifelong love. They married on May 13, 1961, and together raised two wonderful children. David preceded her in death on May 15, 1985.
She was the loving mother of Marianne E. Huff and the late David John Huff, who passed on July 19, 2008. She was the proud grandmother of Robert (Nuverre Naami) Cach Jr., Andrew John Cach, and Jacqueline (Brett Hogan) Cach. Betty is also survived by her dear siblings Frances J. Curler and Alexander Frances Krivacs.

May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
