

Frank Pecchia was born April 16, 1919 in Terelle, Italy. He served his country in WWII in the Italian Army. In 1957, he moved to the United States, bringing his family a year later in 1958. He worked his whole life in the cement and contruction business and even owned his business.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Lucia and is survived by his children Mario Pecchia, Maria Stella (Michael J.) Gilbert and William (Raquel) Pecchia. His is also survived by his four grandchildren David (Jackie), Mark (C.J.) Gilbert, Angie (Adam) Kidd and James (Michele) Gilbert and his five great grandchildren Katherine, Lucille and Alexander Gilbert as well as Austin and Travis Kidd.
Visitation for Frank will be Friday June 17, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 25450 Plymouth Road in Redford, Michigan 48239. During the visitation, there will be a Rosary prayed in Frank's memory at 7 pm. The funeral home is located on the north side of Plymouth Road between Beech Daly and Telegraph roads.
Funeral services for Frank will be Saturday June 18, 2011 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 12170 Beech Daly in Redford, Michigan 48239. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 am until his funeral Mass at 10 am, celebrated by Fr. Richard Osebold. The church is located on the east side of Beech Daly just north of Plymouth Road.
Frank will be laid to rest with Lucia at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi, Michigan.
Memorials may be made in Frank's honor the the Dementia and Alzheimers Foundations.
