Frederick Douglas Taylor was born September 25, 1954 in Oakwood Hospital, Dearborn, Michigan to Barbara Babcock Taylor and Donald Taylor. He was one of six sons. Fred passed away suddenly on Sunday December 22, 2019, in the same hospital of his birth, at the age of 65.
Frederick was the beloved husband and best friend of Karen Taylor for five years. Former husband of Glenda Taylor for 35 years. Loving father of Ryan Taylor (Jennifer), Daryl Taylor (Regina), and Lindsay Taylor. Dearest son of Donald Taylor and the late Barbara Babcock Taylor. Dear brother of Thomas Taylor, Bruce Taylor (Cathy), Robert Taylor, Douglas Taylor and Timothy Taylor (Gloria). Proud Papa of Samantha Taylor, Andrew Taylor and Sofia Taylor.
Fred was a proud United States Army Veteran who was a member of the American Legion Post #217. He owned and operated his own business in the residential construction industry. He could be found listening to classic rock or watching his many favorite TV evangelists. Fred especially enjoyed pastors' Les Feldick and Andrew Wommack. However, his passion was his family. He simply loved being a husband, dad and Papa. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
A memorial gathering for Frederick will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 25450 Plymouth Road, Redford Township, Michigan 48239. (Just east of Beech Daly).
Fred's life will be celebrated with a memorial service at 2:00 PM led by Reverend Mark Raitz.
