Germ was a close friend, I only met him once in person at a NJ amp fest.
We stayed in contact on the phone and on FB , He was a wonderful human being
I share his passion for amplifiers and he has helped me design a great deal of useful things.
He had a quick wit and and wonderful mind,  he will be missed, God Bless the family.

I met Jeremy around 2009 at an amplifier show. Hung out at his booth for a while chatting about his amps. I found him to be friendly and  knowledgeable. Flash forward some years later in early 2014, I had an issue with my main stage amp, at a show, I found his  contact info and called. He wanted to make sure I could get through the show and asked if I needed him to do an emergency call, I had a spare available so it was no big deal. He and Robin came down that evening anyway. He ended fixing the amp for me a few months later after the parts came in. Because of the detail he put into it, we started on other projects I wanted to do, pedalboards, wireless units, etc. I ended trying out some of the ToneShop products and enjoyed them so much, I started using them exclusively. That started another round of projects, modifications and dialing them in, all the while, we started forging a friendship along the way. Next thing, it was 3-5 phone calls a week, visits to the house for morning coffee when I could make it to town (I live in Chicago) for shows or visits. In 2015, we started a custom amplifier build, we experimented, tweaked and tested constantly. This process went on for almost a year. It incorporated the sounds I always heard but could not achieve. Once it was completed, I took delivery on a show weekend . I get to soundcheck, start really kicking it out and pfffftt! It stops working. I call Jeremy and explain what happened and had to give him all the infinite details (what it sounded like before it stopped). He said, I’ll be there at 8pm with a spare and an emergency kit, I’m pretty sure I put an undersized capacitor in it.  He shows up, has it torn apart and back up running in 15 minutes, mind you this was done on a bar table! If you needed him, he was alaways there. I consider him one of my closest friends and confidante. I am blessed to have Jeremy and Robin in my life. I will miss him immensely but have so many great memories to reflect on. Farewell my friend.

Germ was an amazing person that would give you the shirt off of his back and type of person you'd want "in" this world, but God and/or the universe must have had a bigger pan for him.  He will be sorely missed.

I met Jeremy a few years back.  I was at a bar with mutual friends to see our friends in 5-pound Head (band).  He sat in and as usual, ripped it up on guitar sounding phenominal.  We also have mutual close friends in Parallel Fifth.  After that night, our relationship continued to grow as he was with Toneshop amps and I owned Rozsa Amplification and Engineering.  We'd share ideas ad knowledge about amps and support each other.  If I ran low on a part, I would call him up and say Germ, do you have this/these components on-hand, I'm out?  If he did, I would drive 30 min. to pick them up and drop off some cash or we'd swap for components, or I'd order some for him.  It was a great business relationship!

On a personal side, we'd see bands together and most recently were getting together weekly on a Dokken project where he was over just the day before and I poke with him the morning of his passing!  He will be sorely missed.  Rest in Peace and Love Always my brother.

I never met Jeremy, but I know my very good friend Robin and her daughter Victoria.  Words can't express how deeply his loss is felt by his loved ones.  My deepest sympathies to Jeremy's friends and his family.  Thinking of all of you and sending strength and love for the years ahead.
