Judy Conway Smith

Judy Doris Conway Smith was born November 21, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan, to Robert J. Conway Sr., and Malvina Hack Conway. She was one of 4 children. Judy passed away on Saturday December 23, 2017 in Garden City, Michigan at the age of 67.

Judy was the beloved wife of Lawrence "Larry" Smith for 31 years. Stepmother of James (Renee) Smith. Step-grandmother of Stefani Smith. Sister of the late Russell (the late Margaret) Conway, Steven (the late Jane) Pointer, and Robert J. (Carol) Jr. Conway.

Judy worked as a dispatcher for North American Van Lines for 20 years until she retired. She enjoyed knitting. She loved gambling at the casino, especially the one in St .Ignace where she could also take in the beautiful scenery of Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and the surrounding nature. She had a passion for her dogs, as well as all animals. However, she hated bees and spiders.

A visitation for Judy will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 25450 Plymouth Road, Redford Township, Michigan 48239. The evening will conclude with a service to celebrate her life at 7:00 PM. The service will be led by Reverend Mark Raitz.

Judy will be laid to rest privately with her family at Acacia Park Masonic Cemetery, 31300 Southfield Road, Beverly Hills, Michigan 48025.
