Marvin Henry Greb

Marvin Henry Greb, age 87, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Garden City Hospital. He was born July 14th, 1934 to Henry and Evelyn(Norum) Greb, of Calumet Twp, Michigan.

Marvin over came several physical limitations during his early years to become an avid athlete and outdoorsman. After moving to Detroit, and later Dearborn Heights, Mavin Graduated Cooley High School with honors. Marvin's only sibling, the late Dale Greb, was born when he was 20 years old and serving in the Navy Reserves. Marvin was his brother's mentor, sharing his love of bowling, golf and shooting sports. Marvin retired after 37 years of dedicated service to the Detroit Free Press as a delivery driver. During those years, he won multiple league bowling and golf championships. Marvin's hobbies also included creative writing, crosswords, and philanthropy. He had a passion for helping those in need.

Marvin is survived by his sister-in-law Mary, his nephew Matthew (Jessica) and his niece Andrea.

A visitation for Marvin will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 25450 Plymouth Rd., Redford, Michigan 48239, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM.
