

Mildred Elizabeth Fairgrieve was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 1, 1928, one of ten children to Herman and Emma Priebe. She passed away peacefully in Lapeer, Michigan under the gentle care of Hometown Hospice on November 16, 2013 at the age of 85.
"Milly" was the beloved wife of the late Robert for 39 years until he passed away before her in 1987. Loving mother of Roberta (Tim) Owens, Ellen (Barry) Schaeffer, Thomas (Linda) Fairgrieve, Frances (Dave) Bates, Timothy (Phyllis) Fairgrieve, Karen (Shawn) Dice, Sandra (David) Munck, the late Janet Mroz and the late Steven Frank Fairgrieve.
Dear grandmother of Brian (Christine) Mroz, Scott (Karen) Mroz, Stacy (Eric) Pruitt, Elizabeth (Ethan) VanDoorme, Alison Grabowski, Angela (Scott) Zuke, Jeremy Schaeffer, Mellisa Fairgrieve, Amanda Bates, Jennifer Fairgrieve, Mary Fairgrieve, Kimberly Fairgrieve, Matthew Fairgrieve, Rebecca Fairgrieve, Jessica (Ryan) Pipe, Robert Dice, Emma Dice, Faith (Anthony) Sgroi, Samantha Young and the late Robert Larson Young Jr.
Dearest great-grandmother of Trevor, Haley, Courtney, Brandon, Erika, Adrianna, Garrett, Savannah, Gavin, Cora, Aubrey, Terry Jr., Amelia and Keldon.
With nine children, Milly was primarily a housewife and mother, however she held many jobs throughout the years; for example, Milly was employed by Meskin & Davis for 13 years as a Notion Paker. She was very patriotic and was a member of AMVETS Post #13. Milly also belonged to the Moose Lodge, American Legion, and was a longtime member of Hosanna Tabor Lutheran Church in Redford and later attended Faith Lutheran Church in Highland, Michigan. She volunteered at Grayling Memorial Hospital and when the kids were young, she was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 3-8pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home 25450 Plymouth Road, Redford Township, Michigan 48239 (Just east of Beech Daly Road)
The Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Redford.
Milly will be laid to rest with her husband in Parkview Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan
There will be a luncheon to follow at DeLuca's Restaurant following the Committal.
