Sherry Ann Johnson was born July 16, 1956 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Adolf and Elizabeth Bassler. She was one of 4 children. Sherry passed away suddenly but peacefully, in her Livonia, Michigan home on Saturday June 9, 2018 at the age of 61.
Sherry is predeceased by her parents, and her brother Barry Bassler.
Sherry is survived by; daughter Kimberly (Stephanie Rausch) Werman; and son Bradley Johnson; brother Rick (Janell) Bassler and twin sister Sue (Jimmy Seidner) Parbs; granddaughter Ayla Werman, granddaughter Rylee Johnson, granddaughter Amelie Werman, granddaughter Kennedy Johnson, grandson Pierce Johnson, niece Shanna Bassler, nephew Brant Bassler, nephew AJ Bassler. AJ was also blessed to be Sherry’s Godson. Great-nephew Cole Moldenhauer, great-nephew Braxton Covert, and great-niece Kylie Covert.
She will also be deeply missed by her closest friend Curtis and her loyal companion "Carmen the Dog"
Sherry worked as a paralegal and enjoyed doing yard work and planting flowers, country music, working out, and especially her dog, Carmen.
Sherry's life will be celebrated with a Gathering on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 1:00pm - 7:00pm. There will be a time for sharing stories and memories at 6:00pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 25450 Plymouth Road, Redford Township, MI 48239.
Sherry will be laid to rest by her mother on July 20, 2018 at 2:00pm with Committal Prayers in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery 14875 W. Greenfield Ave., New Berlin, WI 53151.
