Willie Gene Dubignon

Mr. Willie Gene Dubignon was born September 2, 1945 in Thomason, GA to the parentage of the late Curtis Dubignon and the late Lily Sanders. He was reared in the Upson Coutny and educated in the school system. Mr. Dubignon stayed in Massachusetts for a while then moved to Detroit, where he met the love of his life Betty Slay. Mr. Dubignon was a hard worker and fun person, until his illness in 2005. Willie was a quiet man, he demonstrated his love for his family by being a great provider and always being there when he was needed. He will be greatly missed by family.

Willie leaves to mourn his passing: ( Wife ) Betty , (Daughters ) Rhonda ( & Erik - Husband ) Keeton, Mrs. Lillie Slay-Perine, ( Son ) Kevin Dubignon, one sister Mrs. Curley Price of Thomason, GA. Five grandchildren, Sharhonda Winfrey, Chelsea Harris, Kevin Dubignon Jr., Christian Perine and Taylor Perine. ( In laws ) Carolyn and Willie Davis, James, Ralph and Roy Johnson. ( Neice ) Evelyn Thomas, and Patricia Thomas his devoted cousin. Willie has a host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends for a viewing on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 4-8pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home 25450 Plymouth Road (East of Beech Daly) Redford Township, Michigan 48239.

There will be a service to celebrate Willie's life at 12pm on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the funeral home. Family hour will begin at 11:30am.

Willie will be laid to rest at Detroit Memorial Park West Cemetery, Redford, MI.
