David Ray Cary

David R Cary, 68, passed away July 3rd 2015 after a long illness with COPD. He was born in Yakima, WA December 28th, 1946 to Herchel and Alice Cary. He moved to Bellevue in Jr High and graduated from Sammamish High in 1965. Shortly after graduation Dave entered the United States Marine Corp and was deployed to Vietnam where he served as a field radio operator. Dave had many jobs in life from working in a shipyard to owning his own restaurant and eventually working at Boeing. His first love was always aircraft and flying. He was an avid airplane enthusiast and had a Commercial and Instrument license to fly. Dave enjoyed early retirement, traveling, experiencing different cultures, and firearms. He always joked even through tough times and knew how to make everyone laugh. Dave loved animals especially his grandoggies Karlee, Link, Rocket Susie and Herchel.

He is survived by his wife Ursula of 37 years; three children Patrick, Shawn, Kristen; two daughter in-laws Tara and Erin; two grandchildren Meghan and Michael; sister Janet Bahner; many nieces and nephews; and best friends Bill D., Pete, and John. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.
