Born in Mexico City, he was the son of Jesus and Maria. He migrated to the United States 25 years ago for a better life with his wife and two daughters.
He enjoyed drawing, music, and cooking. He couldn’t go a day without listening to music. He loved all types of music. He will be remembered for his ability to make anyone laugh and smile. He will be remembered for how hard he worked in every job he ever took on. He will be remembered for the tenderness in his eyes.
He loved his wife, Catalina, and daughters, Victoria and Catherine. He loved his dogs, Max, Shakira, Napoleon, Eleanor, and Prince-pets he had throughout his life.
He was a man who gave the world so much love. He deserved better. This country failed him by creating barriers that kept him from succeeding or returning home. Millions of undocumented people suffer from losing loved ones yet are forced to grieve from afar. He fought hard despite the circumstances.
A visitation for Jose Javier will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Cedar Lawns Funeral Home, 7200 180th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
