Judy was born on February 9, 1942, in Winona, Minnesota. She graduated from Sibley High School in West Saint Paul, Minnesota and attended Nurses Training at Saint Mary’s in Rochester, Minnesota. She is survived by her husband Billy, sons; Jeff, Phil, and Dave, as well as five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her two siblings, Dennis Ginther and Camille Denby.
She married her high school sweetheart, Billy in September, 1963. They moved from Minnesota to Bellevue, Washington in 1966 with their 17-month-old son Jeff, as Billy started his work with Boeing. Judy loved her work as a nurse and gave wonderful love and care for her patients. Both Judy and Billy retired in 2000. They lived in the Tam O’ Shanter community for close to 50 years before downsizing and moving to Redmond Ridge in 2017. They were both active members of Saint Louise Parish in Bellevue for many years before they joined the Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish in 2017.
Judy loved her family and friends dearly. She was exceptionally sweet and kind to everyone and loved to connect with people through thoughtful cards or texts with positive and encouraging words – and lots of emojis! She enjoyed reading, caring for her grandchildren (and great grandchildren), and shopping. Judy was a beacon of goodness and selflessness in the world. May her passing serve as a reminder that we all need to try harder to do good and think of others first, in order to fill her void. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A special thanks to the wound clinic at Evergreen Hospital and Molly Price in particular for her kind care the last 2 plus years.
