Kim was active, bright and engaged with family and friends. She cherished her family, friends and the time they spent together over vacations, birthdays, watching their sporting events, and lunching with girlfriends.
Kim was born in Seattle, WA, attended high school in San Juan Capistrano, CA and graduated from Blaine High in Blaine, WA. She attended Edmonds Community College and was a medical assistant for 25 years. She and her husband, Gary Pringle, owned an RV park in Point Roberts, WA welcoming yearly vacationers from British Columbia, Canada.
Kim loved gardening and crafting, such as diamond dot pictures and embroidering Christmas stockings for each family member and their significant others. Kim was a positive, fun loving friend and mother who raised a terrific family.
Kim was preceded in death by her husband Gary Pringle and parents “Bud” Elinor and Patrick Whalen, and stepmother Ona Whalen.
She was a devoted mother to her children: Brian Leith (Patti), Jodi Irwin (Ken), Kari Lowe (John), and stepchildren Steve (Tara); Dave; and Darren (Nicole). Kim was very proud of her 17 grandchildren Mckenna and Jordan Leith, Natalie and Cameron Van Matre, and Kurtis Lowe as well as her step grandchildren Jacob and Tyler Irwin; Emma (Brenden), Alissa, Julia, Hudson, Megan, Hannah, Naomi, Daniel (Kiana), Brandon and Rebecca.
Kim is survived and will be sorely missed by her sister, Michelle Pomada (Larry); sisters-in-law Maureen Pringle; Tracy (Stan); and her many friends.
Kim lived an exemplary life of love, joy, humility, and gratitude.
A celebration of life will be held later this year.
