Lillian Anna Kastner

Born on March 6, 1926 in Haymarsh, North Dakota to Joe and Christina Kottenbrock, Lillian was the second oldest of six children. She grew up on the family farm and attended school in the Haymarsh community. On July 23, 1946 Lillian was married to Archie Kastner.

Lillian and Archie began their family in Hebron, North Dakota and in October of 1955 relocated to Bellevue, Washington. Lillian was a beloved mother to daughter Arletta and sons’ Ric, Terry and Steve.

Lillian was quick with a laugh and a smile and had only the kindest words for everyone she met. She and Archie enjoyed dancing with their many friends at the North Dakota club, parties at the family home, fishing for salmon in Puget Sound, camping with their motor home, and trips to North Dakota, but of all these, Lillian was happiest spending time her with her loving husband Archie, her children, grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Archie and Lillian would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this coming July.

Lillian and Archie were devout members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Bellevue, for over sixty years. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9460NE 14th St. Clyde Hill, Washington 98004
