Mildred T. Stieff died on Saturday, September 12. She was 89. Born in Pennsylvania, she moved to NYC at a young age and lived most of her life there. She also lived in Las Vegas for over 30 years before moving to Washington State in 2013. She made friends wherever she lived and was known for her independent spirit, long and frequent letters to loved ones and her love of animals, especially dogs.
She is survived by her daughter, Pauline and was pre-deceased by her husband, Jack.
