He was surrounded by his loving wife of more than 50 years and youngest daughter. In his final moments, he found comfort listening to one of his favorite bands, Los Tigres del Norte.
He was born in Sinaloa, Mexico, with several brothers and sisters and was raised by his grandparents. He came to California in the 1950s and lived in several cities, including Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, and Torrance. He has two sons, five daughters, and several grandchildren.
Though he was a rough-around-the-edges kind of guy and had a challenging personality, anyone could learn from his strong work ethic and unwavering stubbornness. He taught the value of hard work, determination, and perseverance.
Though Manuel has left this world, he will never be forgotten. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and loved ones.
He will be laid to rest at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach.
