Frances Elida Remy

Frances Elida Remy passed away peacefully in Clovis CA on April 13, 2026 at the age of 88. A memorial service will take place at Old St. Anthony’s Church in Reedley, CA at 11:00am, May 21st, followed by a gathering for family and friends at the Ridge Creek Golf Club’s Patio Restaurant.

Frances was born in Michigan on June 16, 1937 to Pablo and Maria Perez. The family moved to Fresno, CA when she was a child where she was raised along with her seven siblings. Frances graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School, eventually going to work for Dr. Von Berg’s dental practice until she retired. She was also the first female EMT for Sequoia Safety Council as a volunteer. Frances loved to travel, including international trips to Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South and Central America, Europe and across America, often accompanied by her granddaughters. Frances loved meeting people and making new friends wherever she went. She also loved her dogs Bogie, Oscar, Emmy and Rusty.

Frances is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ray Remy and her children, Sandy Brage (Mark) and Eddie Quan (Stephanie) along with her stepson Micheal Remy (Valerie). She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Lindsey Pierce (Jason), Sabrina Lucero (Chris), Sami Quan and Garret Remy. Frances also had six great grandchildren, Kenley Pierce, Kolton Pierce, Briella Lucero, Maddox Lucero, Ayla Lucero and Wesley Remy. She is also survived by her seven siblings, Mary Dong, Sylvester Perez, Paul Perez, Pauline Allen, Gloria Patterson, Virginia Morales and Richard Perez.

Frances treasured her time with family and friends, rarely missing a gathering, and would light up the room when she was there. Frances loved her Lord, Jesus Christ and is now in his loving arms.
