Gerry S Stambach

Gerry was the daughter of the late John Stevenson and the late Geraldine (Levis) Stevenson.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Frank (Bud) Stambach; their three children and their families: son Steve Stambach (Pam Gallemore), two grandchildren, one great grandchild; son Chris Stambach (Jeanette), three grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and daughter Ann Loomis (Larry Baker), two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many other beloved relatives and dear friends.

Gerry was a longtime resident of Los Banos, California. She was a registered nurse, graduating from Merritt Hospital, and dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally, always tending to friends and family with compassion. She especially enjoyed her time with family and spending summers in the mountains.

In addition to nursing, Gerry was a talented pastry chef who loved baking wedding cakes, special birthday cakes for the grandchildren, creating and cooking new recipes and cultivating gardens. She was deeply involved in her community, ran for the Los Banos Unified District school board, worked with local mental health organizations, enjoyed camping trips with family, and generously hosted three foreign exchange students over the years.

Gerry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
