Honorio Salinas Salinas aka "Picho", age 67, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025. He was born on January 23, 1958, in Doctor Coss, Nuevo León, Mexico, and later made his home in Reedley, California.
Honorio was a dedicated farm laborer for 43 years, known for his strong work ethic and perseverance. He was married for 46 years to the love of his life, Diana (Cavazos) Salinas, building a life centered on love, family, and community.
A man deeply respected by all who knew him, Honorio was always positive, strong-willed, and full of joy. He loved music and was an amazing dancer. He was incredibly social and friendly, and never met a stranger, only friends he hadn’t talked to yet. He always had something to say, the best advice to give, and a way of lifting spirits wherever he went. Known as the life of the party, Honorio had a gift for making people feel seen and welcomed. He gave everyone nicknames that somehow always stuck and took many family members and friends under his wing.
Above all, Honorio was family oriented. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal son and brother.
He is survived by his father, Jose Salinas Salinas, and his mother, Olvido (Lopez) Salinas; his wife, Diana (Cavazos) Salinas; his daughter, Cindy Salinas and her husband, Gabriel De La O; his sons, Jose Ramon Salinas and Honorio Salinas, Jr. and his wife, Karla Salazar; three granddaughters and four grandsons; his brothers, Homero Salinas, Jose Oliverio Salinas, Omar Salinas, Olivel Salinas, Odiel Salinas; his sister, Nora Elia Salinas De Camarena and many nieces and nephews.
Honorio’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, wisdom, laughter, and unwavering positivity. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
